Steve has extensive legal, technical and business experience. He also has an electrical engineering background in the semiconductor, electronics, communications, energy and transportation and aerospace industries.

Before joining the Simmons firm, Steve filed and prosecuted U.S. and international patents before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. His broad technical background enables him to work closely with clients and identify underutilized patents and potentially profitable untapped markets.
