Bellwether trial result for 5 plaintiffs harmed by metal-on-medal hip replacement devices slams J&J, DePuy with $142 million in compensatory and $360 million in punitive damages. The evidence presented during trial showed physicians lied in medical clinical testing of the devices and forged consent forms for patients, according to Shareholder Jayne Conroy who serves as co-counsel for the plaintiffs as a member of the Plaintiffs’ Executive Committee for the DePuy Pinnacle MDL.
